I was born in 1965 in the Ore Mountains – in Annaberg a town not far away from Oberwiesenthal, Germany’s highest elevated town.
My first experience with a camera goes back to my childhood when black-and-white photograpy was prevalent. At school I joined a study group for photography.
After school and university I started working in the public administration what I’ve been doing since, being responsible for the protection of species.
In 2006 I bought my first digital camera. That was the beginning of a love affair! My first photo exhibition was 2008.
